Too Easy!

After taming my sweet-tooth and wallet, I decided to create a recipe for peanut butter cups that stands above the rest. So with a little practice, I came up with a recipe that just seems to hit the spot!

Recipe Title

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Cup Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Slivered Almonds
  • 2 Tbs Butter
  • Salted Caramel (For Drizzle)

Preparation

  • In a double boiler (or a pot within a pot) on high heat, add in the milk, butter, and chocolate and melt until it becomes creamy.

  • Pour about an 1/8 inch of the melted chocolate into a cupcake tin lined with cupcake cups (Should yield about 8 cups)

  • Place in the freezer for 15 minutes.

  • For the peanut butter, I simply put it in the microwave until it was melted and creamy. (About 1 minute 30 seconds)

  • Take the cupcake tin out of the freezer and pour about 1/8 inch of peanut butter

  • Take the slivered almonds and sprinkle them generously over the top.

  • Place the cupcake tin back into the freezer for another 15 minutes.

Finishing Touches

  • When ready to serve, take the salted caramel drizzle over the top.

  • Serve cold
