These seeds are elevated with the delicate, artisanal touch of Fleur de Sel, enhancing their natural nutty essence, while the exotic Hawaiian Red Alaea Salt infuses them with a unique, earthy richness. This luxurious blend of salts accentuates the seeds' robust flavor. Each bite is a harmonious balance of savory and satisfying, making them an irresistible, gourmet treat. Perfect for mindful munching or as an elegant addition to your culinary creations.

The Great Pumpkin Massacre

Every year, just before Halloween, I would host a pumpkin carving party. It was recently named "The Great Pumpkin Massacre". Friends from all over the state would join and celebrate a fun holiday together at a pot-luck style gathering. Here is where my clever ruse takes place. People carve the pumpkins, leaving the seeds and innards in a large pot where I later take them and separate the seeds. After a thorough rinse, I'll begin my process of roasting up my acquired pumpkin seeds. Shhhh! Don't let my secret out!

Pumpkin Seed

Ingredients

2 Cups Pumpkin Seeds

2 Tbs Canola Oil

1 Tbs Hawaiian Red Alaea Salts

1 Tbs Fleur De Sel Salts

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350⁰

  • In a medium bowl, add in the oil, salts, and pumpkin seeds and mix thoroughly.

  • Spread the pumpkin seeds evenly over a large cookie sheet.

  • Place in the oven and let cook for 30 - 45 minutes or until seeds are a golden brown.
